Jacob Arnold (Silvius) 17, is grateful for the amazing opportunity of doing this show. He has previously been in Murder at Sunset (Detective Flint), A Midsummer Nights Dream (Bottom), and The Hobbit (Gandalf). He is so excited to be working with State48 Theatre once again.
Katie Arnold (Rosalind) loves any opportunity to spend time in the theater. She is currently studying Theater Management at BYU. This is her first on stage performance in a few years and she is so grateful to Andrea for the opportunity. She would like to thank her family for all their help: sewing costumes, running lines, and making car rides fun.
Keith Aspinall (Duke Frederick) is doing Shakespeare. Shakespeare! He still can’t believe it. His most recent experience with the bard was seeing Something Rotten two years ago and he found him just as indecipherable as he did in high school. But that might have been on the actor and acoustics. Appearing in just his second stage production ever, Keith promises you may not know what the Duke is saying, but you’ll definitely know what he means. He appreciates Andrea’s confidence in him and pushing him past his limits (requested <60 lines, and got… 68). Lastly, he thanks his wife Joanne, who approved him being in the show when the family was supposed to be on a (performing) break.
Jacki Beltran(Page #1) is excited to be back on stage for her third production with State 48 and also acting alongside her daughter, Kailei, for the first time! Her previous roles include The Sexton in Much Ado About Nothing and Officer Merriweather in Murder At Sunset. When she’s not on stage, you can find her on a mountain somewhere hiking (when the weather permits), with Kailei preparing for 5K races, or in a dance class. Jacki would like to thank her daughter, family, and friends for their continued support of her many crazy adventures, and also Andrea for this awesome opportunity!
Kailei Beltran (Dennis) is 16 years old and in her junior year at Red Mountain High School. This is her first Shakespeare play that she has ever done and she couldn’t be more excited to be a part of the cast. This is her fifth show overall and her fourth with State 48. Past roles include Citizen #1 in Fuse PAC’s OZ the Musical, Tamsin in Sleeping Beauty, Miss Maryanna in Jekyll and Hyde, and Lord Lanford in CinderElla with State 48. When not on stage, she is learning the tech side of theatre. She also was the stage manager of not only the youth cast, but also the community cast of State 48’s latest production of Murder at Sunset. She would like to thank Andrea for the awesome opportunity to give it a try in a Shakespeare show. She would also like to thank her mother for taking her to rehearsal and her family and friends for supporting her on her journey in theatre.
Amelia Burrell (Forest Lord 1/Court Lady) has stepped out of her comfort zone and onto the stage in her first production since the second-grade play. Algebra teacher by day, actress by night, Amelia has enjoyed leading a double life for this production. She is grateful for the chance to explore and develop her talents. The best part for her has been working on it together with her husband, Ben, who gave her the courage to audition. She is excited to continue pursuing the thrill of theater in future productions.
Ben Burrell (Forest Lord 2) is new to State 48 and Shakespeare, but has worked with Andrea before, having been Utterson in her original cast of Jekyll and Hyde. He’s had a blast in this show, and is glad that there wasn’t any law enforcement roles for him to be cast in. The best part about this production for him was returning to performing in plays with such a fun cast!
Tori Chapman
As a self proclaimed rom-com connoisseur India Chudnow (Corin) is so very excited to be apart of this cast! Especially for her State 48 debute! She has previously played other elderly including but not limited to Gay Wellington (You Can’t Take it With You), Marilla Cuthbert (Anne of Green Gables), and Grandma (The Addams Family). In her spare time India is attending Arizona State University studying Fashion and Art History. India enjoys watching movies, hanging out with friends, tie-dye, and writing in the third person. MUCH THANKS to everyone involved in this super show and all family and friends who support local art 🙂
Cameron Cluff (Orlando) is an actor and technician with a BA in Theatre and Drama from Grand Canyon University. His previous Shakespeare credits include Tybalt/Peter in Southwest Shakespeare Company’s educational tour of Romeo and Juliet, Orsino in Twelfth Night, Costard in Love’s Labour’s Lost, and Stephano in The Tempest with Chandler-Gilbert Community College. Other credits from GCU include: Orgon in Tartuffe, Mr. Webb in Our Town, Doc in Westside Story. Other credits from CGCC include: Jess/Hamlet in The Complete Works of William Shakespeare (Abridged), Selsdon in Noises, Off!, Dave/Randy in Almost, Maine.
Jeremy Connors (Hymen) is 43. This is his first role on stage, but he has built and designed sets for State 48 this last year and finally got the bug after much encouragement from Andrea. He is very excited for the future and feels he is truly blessed with the friendships made through this show, and the encouragement from his daughter Paula, wife Judith, director Andrea, and from all of his family members. He could not have done it without you. On to the next!
Judith Connors (Adam) is excited to be performing in her second production with State 48, having just performed as “Joan” in Murder at Sunset after a long hiatus from the stage. While she did study Shakespeare quite a bit in college, this is her first time performing it. Judith received her B.A. degree in dance production and choreography from SFSU in 1993, and performed with several dance companies and studios in the San Francisco Bay Area. Other theatre roles include “Gymnasia” in A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum, and “Libby” in Babes in Arms. She has also served as choreographer, stage manager, and light board operator for many dance productions and musicals.
Ethan Cook (Court Lord 2) is a Communication major at ASU, and is very excited to be a part of As You Like It. This is his second production with State 48 (and with the very talented Andrea Mcfeely), with the first being Macbeth (King Duncan). Ethan more than anything enjoys the simple pleasure of good company, and often indulges in said company with coffee in hand. He would like to thank all his friends, old and new, his family (you too Grandma!) and the talent behind State 48 that pushes him to be at his best always.
Joseph Daly (Le Beau/William) is very excited to be in this show! He is grateful for the time well spent with new friends, and all the new connections and bonds he has made with his fellow cast members. Thanks to Andrea for all that she has sacrificed, and the time that she has dedicated to give us a platform to perform! She deserves the world! Thanks to the cast mates for all the love and fun! Thanks to the audience for coming to see us! And thanks most of all to Lorde, her music is great!
Bryce Dilullo (Jaques) is a big old doofus and very happy to be a part of this lil romp. He is a big fan of Target and small plastic babies. He is currently studying economics at Arizona State University. It’s a good time. Many thanks to State48, Andrea, and the entire crew for this wonderful time and opportunity. Teagan Dinyes (Phoebe), age 13, is an 8th grader at Sunrise Middle School. This will be her ninth theatre production in the valley over the past 3 years, though this is her first time working with an adult cast. Some favorite previous roles include Lady Sable (CinderElla), Condora (Villains), Zazu (Lion King Jr), and Pepper (Annie Jr). Teagan really enjoys working with cast and crew at State 48 Theatre and thanks Andrea for the opportunity to be in her first full Shakespeare production. When she’s not in rehearsals or school, Teagan takes dance and voice classes, is a member of the theatre performance troop at school, and works on developing an animated web series with her friends.
Kayla Estes (Page 2) is 15 years old and a junior at Mesa High. Throughout her 5 years of performances on stage, this is the first Shakespeare play she is a part of. Previous roles include: Imogene Herdman (Best Christmas Pageant Ever) and Ensemble (Music Man), (Tom Sawyer) and (Lion King). She loves singing, acting and reading. She is in her school’s top choir and top drama classes. She gives many thanks to Andrea, the cast, and crew of State 48 for including her in this wonderful experience!
Cameron Hill (Oliver) is making his Shakespeare acting debut in this production. This will be his second time on stage with State 48. When he isn’t trying to remember what he’s talking about on stage, he likes to play overwatch, rewatch episodes of Euphoria, and bake. He wants to thank everyone involved in this show for allowing him to be a part of this giant family.
Amelia Knight (Amiens) is a sophomore at Perry High School and is in her first Shakespeare play right now! She has been in other shows like Murder at Sunset(Ramona Drake), Emily Hobbs(Elf the Musical JR), Mrs. Potts(Beauty and the Beast JR), and other roles in many other shows. She is also currently in her school’s concert choir and has been in school choirs since third grade. She hopes you enjoy the show and wants to send a special thanks to the directors and awesome stage manager!
Harold LeBoyer (Duke Senior) is pleased to be back again with State 48 having appeared here in Urinetown, Murder at Sunset and will next be appearing in Anne of Green Gables. Previous credits include Wilbur in Hairspray, Fezziwig in Christmas Carol and Van Buren in Damn Yankees -all for Hale Theatre – as well as Victor in Barefoot in the Park, Uncle Billy in It’s A Wonderful Life and Lou in 1940’s Radio Hour for Don Bluth Theatre. Other roles include Schneider in Cabaret, Saunders in Lend Me A Tenor, Howard in Picnic, Judge Turpin in Sweeney Todd, Dad in Leaving Iowa, Horace in The Matchmaker, Underling in Drowsy Chaperone and Mr. Spettigue in Charley’s Aunt.
Andrew Lipman (Touchstone) is amazingly excited to be back at State 48 Theater Company. His previous productions include Urinetown, Arcadia, and Much Ado about Nothing, all directed by the amazingly talented, Andrea. Some of his favorite roles include Dave Bukatinsky in “The Full Monty”(NH Theater Award) at The Mount Washington Valley Theater Company, Jud Fry in “Oklahoma”(AriZoni award) at Mesa Encore Theater, Benedick in “Much Ado about Nothing” at State 48, and Brian in Avenue Q(AriZoni Nomination) at Mesa Encore Theater. He would like to thank the entire production team for putting together this beautiful show for us, his girlfriend for her line-drilling patience, and the cast for dealing with his antics.
Spec Owens (Court Lady/Forest Lord/Sir Oliver Martext) is thrilled to be back on stage, for the first time since high school, with State 48! Spec has had several experiences with The Bard but is excited to have discovered a new favorite in this show! Before starting work as a preschool teacher, Spec has acted as Mrs. Potts (Beauty and the Beast), Charlie Brown (You’re a Good Man Charlie Brown), Miss Marple (A Murder is Announced), and more, as well as working with Andrea’s incredible Anne of Green Gables script previously! Spec has been so excited to dip their toes back into the acting scene (and learning mandolin along the way) and is grateful to the truly amazing cast, new friends therein, Director Andrea, partner-in-crime little sister, and new spouse Banner for encouraging and supporting them in rediscovering this passion!
Robyn Tye-Lennex (Audrey). A classically trained ballerina, Robyn has played many roles in dance and theatre productions, from Arabian Coffee in The Nutcracker to Ivy Smith in On the Town. Robyn was formerly a member of Terpsicore Dance Company. Memorable roles include Hunyak in Chicago (PCA), Dawn in All In The Timing: Universal Language (BST), and most recently, Betty/Emily in Murder At Sunset with State 48. She would like to extend many thanks to Andrea for believing in her and casting her as Audrey (the most fun anyone could have as a goat herder) and to the cast and crew, especially Andrew. Lots of love and thanks to her husband, Matt, for all of his support.
Kylee Webb (Celia) is 20 years old and is an English major at Arizona State University. She has worked with State 48 frequently and has performed in their productions of Jekyll and Hyde (as Rita), Much Ado About Nothing (as Margaret), Macbeth (as Lady Macbeth), and Murder at Sunset (as Ramona Drake). She has also worked behind the scenes as Stage Manager and Apprentice Stage Manager for their productions of CinderElla and The Scarlet Pimpernel. Kylee enjoys going to the movies, reading, sleeping, and taking long walks in the Target parking lot. She would like to thank Andrea McFeely for this wonderful opportunity and her guidance, Evie Arnold for keeping her in line, and her dogs, Jersey and Eviee, for being her motivators.
Julie Weiss (Jacqueline de Boys), 42, makes her AZ acting debut after a 20+ year hiatus. She was previously involved in theatre at a Chicago Park District, where she played Lisa in Fame, Linus in You’re A Good Man, Charlie Brown, Mrs. Cratchit in A Christmas Carol, and an Indian in Peter Pan. Many thanks to Andrea for this opportunity to perform Shakespeare, and to the rest of the cast and crew. A big shout out to boyfriend Jeff, who is beyond supportive (even helping build the set) and for taking care of beagles Dixie and Snoopy during rehearsals and performances.
Riley Wood (Charles) is 22 years old and currently attending classes at MCC and is glad to be back doing theatre after a short break. His previous Shakespeare experience includes performing in an adaption of Hamlet (as Bernardo). He has also been in shows ranging from Anne of Green Gables at AYT (as Charles) or Les Miserables at Counterpointe (as Ensemble). In his free time he likes to watch movies, read, and attempt to draw art. He would like to thank Andrea for being such a great director and Evie for being a great stage manager and for making this such a fun experience.
