Lexi Edwards (Doamna Radu) is very excited to be part of the cast of this new musical! She’s an 18 year old senior at Lumos and a full time student at Rio Salado College. She’ll be starting school at the AZ College of Nursing in August! Lexi is also excited to be playing Aunt Em and several ensemble characters in Lumos’s Wizard of Oz next month. In her free time, Lexi loves to watch horror movies, spend time with her pets, and volunteer and foster with her cat rescue. This will be one of Lexi’s last shows for quite a long time since she’s going into college, and she’d like to thank Karli, Andrea, and Halle for everything they’ve done for her. Lexi is so thankful for all the amazing opportunities she’s had and is going to miss theatre, but is also very excited for all the things to come. She hopes you enjoy the show!
Caliann Ray (Marta Lupu) is a 15 year old freshman and is extremely excited to be doing this show. This is Caliann’s 11th show. Some previous shows include: Villains, As You Wish, Jekyll and Hyde, Epiphany, Guys and Dolls, Pirates A Love Story, Macbeth, Shrek, and she is also currently in Wizard of Oz with Lumos. In her free time when she’s not performing, she loves playing volleyball, playing video games, dancing, and hanging out with her family and friends. She has four siblings (two of them are also doing this show), a dog, and a pig. She would like to thank everyone in the show and that’s helping out with it for putting in so much work to make this a great performance! Hope you enjoy the show!!
Gabby Cuevas (Ulyana Radu) is 13 years old and in 9th grade this is her 9th play and her 4th play this season. Gabby is also in two other plays at the moment The Wizard of Oz and Sleeping Beauty. In her free time she does show choir hangs out with friends and family, watches horror movies and loves shopping! Gabby also has a sibling who is 16 and she also had 4 pets, two dogs and two cats. She hopes that everyone enjoys the show and She would like to thank everyone that was in this show and everyone who helped out to make this play happen!
Ren Pot (Renfield) is 17 years old and is a junior. This is his first show since elementary school. He is also currently in Lumos’s production of Wizard of Oz. He loves dance and has been a dancer for 7 years. He is really excited to have these opportunities in theater and to be able to do this show with Andrea Mcfeely, Karli Kemper, and Halle Porter. He hopes to have many more similar opportunities to grow and expand.
Laura Flood (Mrs. Westenra) is 14 years old and a Freshman at Chandler High. She just came back from a 3 year hiatus and is so excited for this show. Other shows she has been in include: This Girl Laughs, This Girl Cries, and This Girl Does Nothing (Childsplay), Weird Sisters (State 48), Frankenstein (State 48) and many more. In her free time she likes playing volleyball, competing in CDE’s in FFA, and hanging out with her friends. She would like to thank her parents and brother for supporting her thoughout everything that she has done. She would also like to thank Andrea Mcfeely and Karli Kemper for all the amazing opportunities they have given her over the years. She hopes that she can do more shows with State 48 in the future!
Aaron Gunderson (Mayor Wallavich) is a 13 year old boy and currently working on 2 plays I addition to Dracula; The Wizard of Oz and Sleeping Beauty-both with Lumos. He was previously seen in MacBeth and My Little Mermaid. In his spare time he enjoys playing games, watching movies, and hanging out with family and friends. Aria Sweet-Lambson (Doamna Bogdan) is 16 years old and is in his third State 48 show out of seven productions overall. Together with Dracula, Aria has been in The Brothers Grimm Spectaculathon (Narrator 1), Hamlet: A Tragedy in Three Rings (Francisca), The Scottish Play (the Thane of Ross), The Mystery of Edwin Drood (Christina Lyon), and is currently in the Wizard of Oz (The Wicked Witch of the West) and Sleeping Beauty (Drusilla). When he is not acting, Aria enjoys writing, collecting bottles, and singing in State 48’s show choir. He is thankful to his wonderful co-actors and his directors for helping him on this path.
Tori Ainsworth (Lucy Westenra) is 13 years old and in 7th grade. This is her 4th show with State 48, (other shows including The Count of Monte Cristo, Hamlet, and Shrek), and her 20th show overall! She was also in State 48’s Show Choir, Thunderstruck. She’s been with 3 other studios: Bakers, Center Stage Academy, and Stage Door Studios, with roles including Glinda (Wizard of Oz), Cinderella (Into the Woods), Alice (The Addams Family), and more. Some of her hobbies are drawing and singing. She’s very grateful to be in this show and would be happy to be in many more!
Leia Santos (Elena) is the princess of her family. She is 8 years old and in 3rd grade. She really loves doing crafts and acting.
Janee Santos (Larisa) is the leader of her family. She is 12 years old and in 6th grade. She loves crafts and theatre. Janee and her sister Leia will sing all their songs right when they get in the car!
Sarissa Monroe (Irina) is 16 years old and in her sophomore year. This is her 14th musical and her first show with State 48! Sarissa started acting two years ago, fell in love with musical theater, and has been in every show possible since. Some of her recent roles include: Ms. Hannigan (Annie), Belle (Beauty and the Beast), Fiona (Shrek), and currently Dorothy (The Wizard of Oz). Sarissa would like to thank her family and friends for being so supportive of her dreams, the cast for being so welcoming, and Andrea Mcfeely, Karli Kemper, and Halle Porter for the wonderful opportunities. She hopes you enjoy the show!
Trevor Young (Seward) is 16 years old and is a junior. This is his first show with State 48. He has been doing theatre since 7th grade but only started singing in the last two years. He is so thankful for how caring and open the cast has been in welcoming him to State 48. He is looking forward to his role in whatever he does next!
Teagan Dinyes (Amalia) is 16 years old and is so excited to be in another one of State 48’s iconic horror musicals. Some of her other roles include Mary Shelley (Frankenstein), Ernestine (Jekyll and Hyde), Susan (Epiphany), and, most recently, Nicole Cricker/Deputy in State 48’s production of The Mystery of Edwin Drood. She is so grateful for this role and has grown to love this show as she has loved each and every one she has been in. She would like to thank everyone who has put their heart and soul into this show for making it the delightfully gruesome experience that it is and she hopes you enjoy it as much as she does.
Nicholas Kanidis (Boris) is 13 years old and attends Fusion Academy. This will be his 10th production with State 48. Some of his favorite roles: include Nikolai (Hamlet), Newsie Willy (Jekyll & Hyde), Matty (Epiphany), Liver Lips Louie (Guys & Dolls) and Dorleac (The Count of Monte Cristo). He is thrilled to be performing in Dracula and would like to thank everyone for making this such a great experience! In his free time you will find Nicholas playing VR, making music, and being on the lookout for classic cars.
Andrea Rovegno (Mina Murray) is a 17 year old junior attending Lumos Arts Academy and is so ecstatic to be performing once again with State 48! In Andrea’s free time she enjoys working, watching movies, and more working. She also enjoys learning the electric bass and stargazing in random fields. She has participated in multiple performances with Lumos and with State 48 including: Princess Grace (Villains), Viola/Cesar (Epiphany), Lady Julianna (Pirates: A Love Story), Tatiana (Hamlet), and Dracula marks her 20th show overall! She is also currently in The Wizard of Oz with Lumos. She would like to thank Karli Kemper, Andrea Mcfeely, Halle Porter, Jacki Beltran and the rest of the writing and directing team for all the love, support, and opportunities they give! Madison Avery (Olga) is 13 years old and so incredibly excited to be a part of this performance with State 48 Theatre. Previous shows that she has been a part of with State 48 are Hamlet and Shrek Jr. In her free time, Madison likes to listen to music, watch movies, and hang out with friends. Madison would like to thank her friends and family for keeping up with her very busy schedule, and would like to thank all of the amazing people involved with the production of this incredible show!
Adisyn Montefour (Nadya) is so excited to be performing again! Adisyn is 16, goes to Lumos Arts Academy, and is a Junior. This is Adisyn’s 25 show that she has been involved with, if you also count the two she has coming up! Yes, Adisyn is currently in three shows right now! She is playing Jasmine (Sleeping Beauty), who is Briar Rose’s best friend. She is also playing the Tin Man (Wizard of Oz) and is extremely excited to perform in both of them. Some of Adisyn’s past roles have been Debbie (Epiphany), Pirate Lass Molly (Pirates a Love Story), Jacopo (The Count of Monte Cristo), Olenka (Hamlet: A Tragedy In Three Rings), and she was also recently Gwendolyn Pynn in The Mystery of Edwin Drood! In Adisyn’s free time she likes to sleep, wake surf, and hang out with friends and family! Adisyn would like to give a big thank you to Andrea, Karli, Jacki, Halle and everyone else who has helped make the show amazing. Now she has to get back to the pub! Enjoy the show!
Regina Llewellyn (Raza) is 10 years old and a 4th grade student at Lumos Arts Academy. She has performed in many plays over the past year and a half, and she loves to act! Her most recent performance was in Lumos’s production of Peter Pan where she played the role of Tiger Lilly. Her hobbies include art (watercolors, drawing and Perler), MineCraft, music, and Legos. Regi is a lover of cats, hamsters, and other furry animals. Regina would like to thank everyone at State 48 for the amazing opportunities she has received.
Zack Desmangles (Quincey Morris) is 14 and in 8th grade. This will be his fifth show with State 48 Theatre Company. He has done seven shows in total including, The Fifty Dollar Gold Piece (Simon), Guys and Dolls a
(Nicely-Nicely Johnson), Pirates: a Love Story (Snaggle), The Count of Monte Christo (Fernand), Hamlet: a Tragedy in the Three Rings (Horatio), and Shrek the Musical JR (Papa Bear, Papa Ogre, Rat, Knight, and Citizen). He is very upbeat, enthusiastic, and very, very energetic and is happy to be performing with State 48 again. He would like to thank his directors for putting on the show and for making the show possible. He would also like to thank his parents for being there for him.
Parker Schackart (Dracula) is 18 years old. He is excited to be in his 4th production with State 48. He loves the stage and more specifically, loves working with State 48. He is making friends and life long memories. Parker spends his free time working on his music, videography, bowling, and gaming with his friends. He often helps his mom with videos during her photo shoots as well. He’s very thankful for the cast and crew in this production and hopes to continue to work with State 48 in the future.
Carson Giles (Van Helsing) is 13 and in 8th grade at SVJH. Carson has been doing theatre since he was 7 years old. His first role ever was Toto in Wizard of OZ at Fuse PAC. He has been performing almost non-stop with State 48 since. He is glad to be back after a short break and after playing Sky Masterson in State 48’s Guys and Dolls. In his free time he enjoys playing drums, hanging out friends, and playing video games. He’d like to thank his directors, Andrea and Karli, for trusting him with this role, Jacki for being the coolest stage manager, and Halle for all her hard work. Last but not least, he thanks his dad, Bryson, for orchestrating all the music and helping write the songs.
Sam Shepherd (Alice) is 15 years old and is in the 10th grade at Lumos Arts Academy. This is her first production, and she’s very excited! She enjoys Dungeons and Dragons and reading in her free time. She’s very grateful to all of the wonderful staff that help make this production possible and she is eager to continue acting with State 48.
Brody Ray (Domnul Bogdan) is 13 years old and is in 8th grade. He goes to Lumos Arts Academy. He has been in three State 48 shows and is excited to do another show with State 48. He loves to play video games, play sports, and be with friends. He would like to thank Andrea and Karli for allowing him to be in this show and thanks everyone who has helped out with it.
Simon Cho (Sergei) is 8 years old and in 2nd grade at American Leadership Academy. He likes singing, basketball, and doing parkour. He loves being with friends and is often the life of the party. He enjoyed acting in Orphans and in Robin Hood and is excited to be joining his first official State 48 production with Dracula!
Dexter Cho (Grigore Bogdan) is 10 years old and in 4th grade. He likes music, acting, wrestling, horror stories, and going on hikes. He goes to school at American Leadership Academy. In his free time, he likes typing movie scripts and making rap songs. Some of the plays he’s previously been in include Orphans, Robin Hood, and Shrek Jr. He is very excited to be in Dracula!
Aarush Chauhan (Sasha) is 11 years old and in 6th grade. He is a black belt in Taekwondo who loves to act and will maybe one day be a movie star (well that’s what he wishes). He is an active member in his films and movie club at school. Since Kindergarten he has acted in various plays, and with State 48 was in Robin Hood and The Sword in the Stone, though he got covid and was not able to perform and got very upset. After hearing about Dracula, he couldn’t wait to audition and now, here he is doing his homework in between rehearsals and tirelessly working on improving his acting!
Stormy Lee (Delphine) is 22 years old and works as an arts assistant at Lumos Arts Academy. Stormy lives for all things arts and has such a genuine love for acting. This is Stormy’s second time being in a Dracula production and she’s beyond thrilled to be a part of State 48’s adaptation. Some fun shows Stormy has been a part of include The Mystery of Edwin Drood, The Wizard of Oz, All Shook Up, Into the Woods, and Pirates a Love Story.
Kathryn weir (Viorica) is 15 years old and has enjoyed working with state 48 for many shows such as As You Wish, Epiphany, Hamlet, and Guys and Dolls. She has improved so much with their help and has grown a passion for the performing arts in doing so. This will be her first time performing in a gothic horror and it has been such a joy! She would like to thank the cast and crew for making such a stunning show out of Andrea Mcfeely’s original script and hopes you will enjoy the show. Or else the Viorica in her may come out!
